3 Generations of Construction
L&L is a family business that has now entered its 3rd generation. Our founder, Larry Schreier, started the company across from his family home back in 1974. His son and now President, Brian Schreier, started alongside him in the field erecting steel in 1982. Not long after, Larry's daughter Lisa Schreier joined the company as a secretary/treasurer in 1989. Ten years later in 1998, Larry's youngest son and now Vice President, Keith Schreier, started in the field shortly before the creation of L&L Crane. Then in 2020, Keith's daughter, Hailey Schreier, began training as a Crane Operator where she remains in the field to this day.
How it Started
Wanting to branch out on his own, Larry Schreier started L&L in 1974 as an erector of steel in Bucks County. Starting out with just a Grove TMS300, L&L took on anything and everything it could to jump in and get involved in the community. With some growth and experience, it became increasingly obvious that there was a growing demand for a crane service in the area. This soon prompted the creation of L&L Crane in the early 2000's, a division separate from the steel erection. L&L then purchased its first Tadano ATF160G-5 in 2005, continuing to grow and expand with the areas demand.
